Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Sr. Electrician for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).Among the key duties of this position are the following:Takes the lead in maintaining primary and secondary electrical systems in the facility.Installs, tests, repairs and replaces lights and power circuitry, electrical and electronic equipment, alarm systems and electric motors, machinery and appliances.Ensures work is done in compliance with local, state and national codes.Directs other mechanics and helpers.Minimum Education and Experience: Technical school diploma or equivalent level of knowledge plus a minimum of five
