This position supports the Delaware Public Service Commission's Pipeline Safety Inspection Program.  The primary duties of this position are inspecting the operations (procedures and records) and construction activities of jurisdictional gas pipeline operators in the state of Delaware to ensure compliance with federal, state, and Commission Pipeline Safety and Underground Utility Damage Prevention rules and regulations. Much time will be spent out of the office using a provided state vehicle to travel to these inspection sites.  However, prior to conducting independent inspections, there is considerable training that must be undertaken.
