Summary of Duties:
Performs journey level troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and installing or replacing of electrical service in industrial/commercial/educational facilities. Maintains and repairs facility electrical distribution system ranging from 12 volt to over 750 volts.

Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as an electrician; or full journey status as an electrician in a union; or four years' applicable work experience. Vocational training may be substituted for work experience on a year-for-year basis.
Current Washington State EL01 License/Certificate issued by the Department of Labor and Industries.
Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Must possess a current Washington State EL-01 Electrical License/Certificate OR a reciprocal electrical license recognized by Washington State.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience within the last 5 years with electrical maintenance or construction for institutional, educational or commercial type facilities.

Monthly Salary:
$5,117 to $5,929 | Range 50G (Step G - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
