Responsible for the operation, maintenance, installation, diagnostic, and repair of the 13.8KV distribution system and 5KV emergency distribution system serving the UNMC/Neb Med campus.
This includes work on transformers, converters, regulators, cables, switches, circuit breakers, generators, working with hot line tools on energized circuits, operating load tap changers and voltage regulator controls, and installing fuses.
Also responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of Alternating Current (AC) or Direct Current (DC) electrical distribution systems and electrically powered equipment throughout the UNMC Utility Plants that serve the UNMC/Neb Med Campus.
