Ensures daily infrastructure of hospital electrical system is maintained and functional. Service all electrical panels and distribution boards, check building electrical system, high and low voltage power system, trouble shoots motors and controls. Records and documents all tests pertaining to the electrical system of the hospital.
Assists other trades as needed.
The hourly rate range for this position is $29.00 - $45.20. Minimum Education:â¢High school graduate.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢At least 5 years experience as a journeyman, hospital work experience is a plus. Required License/Certification:â¢Trade school diploma Electrician, state contractors license preferred.â¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
