The Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF) Group has an opening for a mechanical technician to provide support for all SRF systems throughout the Collider-Accelerator Department (C-AD). In this role you will work under the general technical direction of the SRF group on a project basis on the maintenance, installation and monitoring of all systems related to high-performance SRF systems including precision low-particulate cleaning, cleaner monitoring and maintenance, fixture and process development, and part evaluation in support of scientific research.
