Nolan School of Hotel Administration:
Your role as a Maintenance Mechanic:
As a member of the School of Hotel Administration and Statler Hotel's Maintenance Department, perform maintenance, repairs and installations as per work orders, perform preventive maintenance, perform renovation and project work, respond to guest service calls for maintenance assistance, monitor complex building HVAC systems, perform security duties and perform other duties as required.
- Perform needed maintenance repairs and installations as per work orders
- Execute appropriate procedures and activities for planned preventative maintenance
- Perform renovation and project work to continue to elevate the integrity of our facilities
- Respond to guest service calls for maintenance assistance; troubleshoot and take appropriate action to adjust, correct, or repair issue
- Monitor complex building HVAC systems daily to ensure proper functioning, diagnose problems and make needed adjustments
- Perform security duties and other duties as required

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma and formal training of one to two years in a vocational school, trade school or apprenticeship program.
- Must be proficient in the use of power/hand tools and mechanical/electrical testing equipment.
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or HVAC.
- Must have a valid NY State driver's license.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends
