United Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Wilson Medical Center team in Johnson City, NY. This is a benefits-eligible position.
Maintenance Technician II Overview
The technician performs operational needs at the facility which includes but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, duties in and around the Hospital.
Maintenance Technician II Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Performs preventive maintenance duties on electrical, mechanical, heating, A/C, plumbing equipment and records data in files
Performs work on electronic equipment; performs electrical wiring as needed
Performs work on refrigeration and air-conditioning units
Performs plumbing, heating, steam fitting and electrical installation as required
Performs general building maintenance duties as assigned
Performs all-around maintenance work including basic grounds duties and records data in files
Maintains responsibility for operation and maintenance of boilers as needed

Position Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Four (4) years experience in operational level maintenance and engineering within a health care setting OR;
Demonstrated Experience in a Maintenance Technician I position
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Completion of or participation in an apprenticeship Program, allied trade school OR Apprentice Maintenance Technician Program
Must possess valid driver’s license
