The Inspector will perform routine inspection, testing and preventative maintenance of Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression product line, as well as, similar competitive product line inspections. The Inspector works with minimal supervision and provides technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees. Inspectors are frequently expected to propose the most appropriate solution, exercise judgment in line with an established process, and to have a good understanding of customer priorities while considering customer satisfaction a permanent objective.

Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections
Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection
Professionally represent the company at all times
Complete Service Acknowledgement/inspections with proper coding through communicating devices, such as laptop computers, smartphones, and/or hardcopy
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule
Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.
Complete assigned inspections on time
Perform other duties as directed
What we look for
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience.
NICET I certification or ability to obtain within 8 months of hire.
NICET II certification or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire.
Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.
Willing to travel out of town.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
