Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Electrician Level III at Overlook Medical Center. Required hours are 8am- 4pm.
Responsibilities
* Understands and can communicate the operation of emergency power systems, including generators and transfer switches.
* Inform supervisor of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, and any customer concerns.
* Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC), The Joint Commission, NFPA and other regulatory agencies standards.
* Ensures service completed and documentation submitted is accurate, complete and timely.
Qualifications
* Possesses advanced understanding and skills related to lighting circuitry
* Possesses understanding of blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
* Installs, repairs, and replaces electrical circuits, motors, switches, outlets, plugs, fuses, and insulators
* Possesses the ability to follow manufacturers procedures for preventive maintenance inspection, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on all, but not limited to, electrical equipment.
* Repair, install, and calibrate electrical equipment and components.
* Exhibits understanding and can demonstrate use of required hand tools, digital multimeter, and electrical safety analyzer.
Education:
- High school, vocational diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 7 years field experience. Hospital experience a plus.
