THE PORT OF OAKLAND is recruiting for the position of Port Utilities Foreman. Under direction, the incumbent is responsible for supervising and working with a staff of skilled and semi-skilled workers engaged in construction and maintenance work related to the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, equipment and facilities. Minimum requirements: A typical combination would include graduation from high school PLUS four years of recent, successful experience as a journey electrician, plumber, electrical inspector, plumbing inspector, mechanical inspector, electrical & mechanical inspector, or equipment systems engineer. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Licenses: Must possess a valid California Class C driver's license at the time and for the duration of appointment.
Must be available for on-call duty as required by emergency situations or as required for uninterrupted operations.
