| Substation Electrician on Kodiak Island, in Kodiak, Alaska. This full-time union position is responsible for providing for the integrity, reliability, and protection of the cooperative's transmission and distribution substation systems supplying power to our island communities. Kodiak Electric Association (KEA) is a progressive and innovative stand-alone generation, transmission, and distribution electric cooperative located on spectacular Kodiak Island in the Gulf of Alaska, 252 air miles southwest of Anchorage, serving approximately 6,000 meters with 387 miles of line.
