John Tyler is seeking an Electrical Installation & Repair Technician to provide and maintain a safe, comfortable, and attractive campus environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. This position is responsible for serving as lead electrician for electrical projects and repairs at the Midlothian Campus and other locations as needed. Responsibilities include general electrical installation, repairs, and maintenance, performing required preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and repairs, collaborating with Chester Campus counterparts, and communicating with management. Provides general maintenance duties to include, but not limited to carpentry, painting, mechanical repairs, moving furniture/equipment. Also maintains adequate inventory of supplies & equipment, inspection reporting, and contract administration for services. Serves as essential personnel during inclement weather and/or College closures. Performs on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
