Perform journey level Electrical work on campus building and infrastructures. Provide the first response to Electrical and assist in Elevator problems in academic and auxiliary buildings. Provide a safe campus environment for the University community that is conducive to learning, living ,and working.
Minimum O2 journey level status as an electrician
Documented experience troubleshooting and operating buildings' electrical systems.
Must have a valid vehicle driver's license.
Must be able to read blue prints, schematics and drawings.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
OR applicable combination of education and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Additional education, training and competencies that may enhance the employee's effectiveness in performing the functions of the position, but that are not required. Additional credit may be given for preferences in the evaluation of applicants, but the appointing authority expects only some candidates will possess these.
Possession of a State of Washington electrical license.
