Responsible for providing electrical installation and maintenance work including the installation of electrical systems, burners, refrigeration, air conditioning equipment, and pneumatic control systems as well as the heating and ventilating systems using advanced journeyman level skills.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Four to five years of related experience or required coursework/certification and or specialized skills/training.
Or a combination of relevant higher education and experience.
Two years of troubleshooting experience, three years of installation experience, and two years of blueprint reading experience.
Journeyman license required.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on department needs.
Ability to effectively communicate in spoken and written standard English.
A limited background investigation will be conducted prior to offer of employment. A signed authorization for release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
