First Thing Each Day: Kickstart your day by diving into the world of electrical inspections. Utilizing our cutting-edge permitting system, you'll pull scheduled inspections, setting the stage for a day of fieldwork.
Fieldwork Begins: Hit the road to embark on your inspection journey. Armed with your expertise and keen eye for detail, you'll venture into various sites to evaluate electrical installations, repairs, and equipment.
Plan Review: Engage in plan review activities, lending your expertise to ensure that proposed electrical projects meet the stringent standards of federal, state, and local codes.
Required Education and Experience:
Oregon Electrical Inspectors certificate, A-level / EI.
Oregon Inspectors Certification (OIC).
Current technical/professional knowledge of complex principles, methods, standards and techniques associated with the scope of work of a recognized profession such as:
Techniques, practices, and procedures for the construction, installation, repair and operation of electrical systems.
Applicable federal, state, and local codes.
Possession of valid driver's license by date of hire.
Ability to maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
Successful completion of a background investigation to the satisfaction of the City.
Must obtain Residential Inspector Certification (CAS/CAX) within two (2) years of hire; the City will pay for the certification .
